The official notification for the IBPS RRB exams is released on June 7, 2024, to make students aware of the upcoming important dates. Selection Process for IBPS RRB exams posts-
The IBPS exams' selection process has been conducted in three phases, and students have to pass all three phases to gain the selection seats during the primary interviews. They are as follows-
1) Prelims-
Prelims are the first stage of exams in IBPS posts, and students have to appear for this exam to qualify for the next step. The Prelims are a total of 80 marks, where 80 questions are asked. The allotted period for the students to complete their papers is only 45 minutes. Students have to complete a total of 80 questions during this time. Negative Marking is also present in the Prelims, and each wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks from all the students.
2) Main Exams-
You will have to qualify for the preliminary exams. Then only you will be able to appear for the main exams. The main exams consist of 200 marks and have five subjects for which students must study in detail. Each subject will carry marks, and the five subjects are reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, English language, Hindi language, and computer knowledge. Students must study all these subjects in detail as the exams also carry negative marks for every wrong answer.
3) Interview-
After clearing the first two rounds, the final step is to appear for the interview for the IBPS posts. The eligibility criteria for the interview process are that students should obtain at least 45% marks in their preliminary and main exams. The same mark limit is 35% for students who belong to SC/ST and other reserved categories. The interview will decide the final caliber and standing of the students. Students have to prove themselves well in the interview process.
IBPS Fees-
The registration fee for all open-category students is Rs 850, including GST. The cost for SC/ST and other reserved students is Rs 150, including GST.
